The Good Fight

Today’s change requires conflict, so do it right.

Stop avoiding conflict, and start leaning into it. In fact, have some fun with it.

Yes, fun. It sounds odd, but fun makes conflict transformative and powerful. Marrying the serious with the light-hearted opens things up (which is my secret sauce, actually). Creating a culture where you can fight the good fight—in the right way—is the key to converting uncertainty into the right actions.

Lively.
Energizing.
Dynamic.
Engaging.

"

Jamie’s keynote presentation on culture management in the digital age was great, and our audience members loved it. The material truly resonated with our audience. In his very lively, energizing session, Jamie gave them clear tips — and most importantly, actionable suggestions — on how to implement these valuable strategies.”

Enjoy the Change

Today’s change is too fast to be “managed.”

Stop managing change and start embracing it. Enjoy it, because, frankly, it’s not going anywhere.

We are navigating the space between what was and what’s next, and if we can create cultures that make this surreal time more joyful, then we can be faster and more thoughtful at the same time. Strong and vulnerable, clear and skeptical, bold and sensible—this is how we convert uncertainty into effective action, making change a strategic advantage rather than a disruptor. Stop struggling with change and start enjoying it.

Cultures that Make Us Laugh

Navigating uncertainty demands a fresh approach to culture. It’s not about core values, it’s about what your culture really is.

Stop hiding imperfections and start using what’s under the surface to get better, even if you have to laugh about it a little.

You can love your culture and make fun of it at the same time. Don’t be afraid to pull out the contradictions. The jokes about what’s not working will shine a light on the effective actions you need to take to make your culture amazing.

What’s next is more human.

Hi, I’m Jamie.

You may find it odd that I would bring joy, laughter, and light-heartedness into the most serious conversations, but believe me, this works.

There’s no doubt that I am serious about my work. I have decades of experience and four published books. I am a culture scientist. I resolve conflicts. I lead change. Yet I just can’t help making it fun at the same time.

Why?

Because research shows when we smile, play, and have fun during our very serious work, the solutions stick. Smile, play, and fun make us fully human. We need human-centric solutions of we are going to make the leap from the old system to the new one. I’m here to make that happen. Please join me.
